We just got word from Community Board 2 that another part of the Navy Green development, a 98-unit permanent supportive housing building located at 40 Vanderbilt Avenue, is ready for new tenants to move in. To help get people in there who need the affordable housing most, the Pratt Area Community Council is accepting applications from those interested.
Apartments, which will be fully-furnished, will cost tenants between $492 and $664 a month to rent for adults with incomes ranging between $21,774 and $28,650. There will be on-site laundry machines, meeting spaces and a yoga room, as well as on-site social services provided by Brooklyn Community Housing and Services.
